How to Move Efficiently in a Shooting Match (Beginner Drills) | FAST Match Series Ep. 2

Episode 2 of the XTech FAST Match Series. In a match, standing still is slow, but moving wrong gets you disqualified. This week, Russell shows us how to move efficiently between positions while staying safe and keeping the muzzle downrange.

We break down movement drills you can practice at home, starting with a handgun and working up to a rifle. No range required. If you want to move faster without being a danger to yourself or everyone around you, this is where it starts.

Two regular guys, six weeks, one match. Follow along as we train for our first 2 gun competition

About SinistralRifleman

I've been competing in the action shooting sports since 2002. I believe competition shooting to be an excellent way to build gun handling and marksmanship skills and encourage all gun owners to seek out some form of competition shooting. Anyone can become reasonably good at it if they devote the time and resources to do so. Winning, while nice, need not be your goal; bettering yourself through the pursuit of excellence is something we all can achieve.
